If you rent, the wall is not yours to drill, and most managing agents want to be asked before a bracket goes up. It is worth getting that in writing first — it takes a phone call and it saves a dish being taken down at your expense. We check the signal quality rather than just the strength, because a strong but noisy signal is exactly what gives you a picture that fails when the weather turns.
