What to Tell Us in the First Message
The more you put in the first message, the more useful the first reply is. Start with the suburb — Rynfield, Northmead, Actonville, Daveyton, wherever you are in Benoni — and say what kind of property it is: a house, a unit in a complex, a flat, or business premises. If a body corporate has rules about dish placement or contractor days, or if the wall is not yours to drill, that is worth saying at the start rather than on the day. As a guide, a basic installation starts from R800, Extra View from R1,500 and a fault-finding call-out from R550, with equipment charged on its own line. Those are starting points, not quotes: a long cable run, difficult access or a complex with placement rules all move the number, which is why you get a price for your own property before anything happens. Several screens in a shop or an office is a business installation and is quoted after we have seen the premises.
